MASQUE

Subscriptions and Cancellation

Version 2026-07-16.2 · Prelaunch review dated July 16, 2026

Salon hosts may keep membership free or choose a recurring monthly price. A subscription is optional and separate from one-time paid media or custom orders inside the salon.

Clear recurring consent

Before checkout, Masque displays the salon, creator, price, billing interval, amount due now, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation route. The subscribe action records the current subscription-policy version. If the policy, processor, cancellation path, or required legal operations are unavailable, checkout fails closed.

Billing and access

  • The displayed price is charged when the subscription starts and approximately every 30 days thereafter until canceled, subject to processor timing.
  • Access begins after the first payment is confirmed and continues through the paid period while the account and salon remain eligible.
  • Media, menu orders, tips, or other purchases inside the salon are separate unless the checkout expressly says they are included.
  • Taxes or legally required fees are shown before confirmation where applicable.

How to cancel

A subscriber may cancel from Wallet → Memberships using the same account used to subscribe. Cancellation stops future rebills after the processor confirms it; access ordinarily continues until the current paid period ends. Masque must not require a phone call, creator permission, or off-platform contact to cancel. If the in-product control fails, contact support with the membership reference.

Refunds and changes

  • Subscription payments are final and non-refundable except as expressly provided in this policy or the Terms, or required by law.
  • Cancellation is prospective. It does not refund or prorate the current paid period, and access ordinarily continues through that period's end.
  • Masque does not refund unused time, forgotten cancellation, account deletion, dissatisfaction with salon activity, or removal caused by the subscriber's policy violation.
  • A duplicate or confirmed unauthorized charge, billing after confirmed cancellation, processor error, or payment that never provides the paid access is a failed or invalid transaction and may be corrected. Masque also provides any remedy required by law.
  • A host cannot silently increase an existing subscription price. A price increase requires advance disclosure and any renewed consent required by law or processor rules.
  • A salon closing or content changing does not automatically create a refund right after access was supplied. Masque may provide a remedy for fraud, unlawful activity, a serious policy breach, a processor requirement, or another legally required reason.

Account or safety actions

A member ban, fraud hold, processor dispute, or lawful safety restriction may end access and stop renewal. Those actions do not themselves create a refund right. Safety enforcement does not prevent a required billing correction or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Renewal reminders and records

Masque retains signup, rebill, cancellation, processor, and notice records needed to prove the subscription state and resolve disputes. Where applicable law requires a renewal reminder or additional notice, the subscription must not launch in that jurisdiction until the notice workflow is configured.

Policy status: this is a prelaunch implementation version prepared for final counsel review. Masque does not represent that counsel has approved this text, that a DMCA agent has been registered, or that the adult-records program is complete. Paid launch remains gated on those recorded approvals and configurations.
