Subscriptions and Cancellation
Version 2026-09-08.1 · September 8, 2026
Salon hosts may keep membership free or choose a recurring monthly price. A subscription is optional and separate from one-time paid media or custom orders inside the salon.
Clear recurring consent
Before checkout, Masque displays the salon, creator, price, billing interval, amount due now, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation route. The subscribe action records the current subscription-policy version. If any part of the subscription path is unavailable, checkout does not complete and no charge is made.
Billing and access
- The displayed price is charged when the subscription starts and approximately every 30 days thereafter until canceled, subject to processor timing.
- Access begins after the first payment is confirmed and continues through the paid period while the account and salon remain eligible.
- Media, menu orders, tips, or other purchases inside the salon are separate unless the checkout expressly says they are included.
- Taxes or legally required fees are shown before confirmation where applicable.
How to cancel
A subscriber may cancel from Wallet → Memberships using the same account used to subscribe. Cancellation stops future rebills after the processor confirms it; access ordinarily continues until the current paid period ends. Masque must not require a phone call, creator permission, or off-platform contact to cancel. If the in-product control fails, contact support with the membership reference.
Refunds and changes
- Masque and Epoch review subscription refund requests case by case. Nothing in these terms limits the issuance of refunds, Epoch's refund discretion, or your rights under applicable law.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Access ordinarily continues through the current paid period. Cancellation and a request to refund a payment are separate actions; you can request both.
- Contact support about unused time, an unintended renewal, or dissatisfaction with the subscription. We consider the advertised access and activity, the delivery record, and the circumstances of your request.
- We investigate duplicate or unauthorized charges, billing after confirmed cancellation, processor errors, and missing or materially misdescribed paid access, and arrange an appropriate remedy.
- A host cannot silently increase an existing subscription price. A price increase requires advance disclosure and any renewed consent required by law or processor rules.
- If a salon closes, a creator blocks access, or promised content becomes unavailable, you can request a refund review. We follow Epoch's decisions and any legally required remedy.
Account or safety actions
A member ban, fraud hold, processor dispute, or lawful safety restriction may end access and stop renewal. Refund requests remain available and are assessed separately from safety enforcement. Contact Masque support or Epoch billing support with the payment reference.
Renewal reminders and records
Masque retains signup, rebill, cancellation, processor, and notice records needed to prove the subscription state and resolve disputes. Where applicable law requires a renewal reminder or additional notice, the subscription is not offered in that jurisdiction until Masque sends that notice.
